7 NOZZLE BOOM, 140″ COVERAGE, FOLDING BOOM

Description

The Ag Spray 7 NOZZLE BOOM, 140″ COVERAGE, FOLDING BOOM is designed for some ATV, UTV, Trailer and 3-Point Sprayers. The folding 7 nozzle boom distributes over 11 feet of total spray coverage with TeeJet premium air inducted extended range AIXR11002VP nozzles that offer excellent drift resistance without compromising spray coverage.  The 7 Nozzle Boom folds down to 51″ for transport and storage. Tubular steel construction and powder coat paint provide strength and durability. Boom requires 1.4 GPM at 40 psi.

• Assembly Tips
  1. Unpack and identify all parts.
     Remove all boom components from the carton and use the parts list/exploded view to confirm everything is there before you start.
  2. Mount the center boom section first.
     Center the middle section of the boom on your boom mounts and secure it with the hardware provided. Make sure the outer boom wings fold backward.
  3. Attach the nozzle harness assembly.
     Install the nozzle harness onto the boom, starting by centering the middle nozzle on the boom.
  4. Connect the feeder hose.
     Route the boom feeder hose from the boom connection to the valve on your sprayer, then clamp it in place with a hose clamp.
  5. Tighten all clamps and hardware.
     Double-check that all hose clamps and mounting hardware are secure before using the boom.
  6. Set boom height.
     For spraying, the manual says proper nozzle height is generally 16–18 inches above the target, and about 18 inches is a good general operating height for pattern coverage.
  7. Test with plain water before spraying chemicals.
     Fill the tank about halfway with water and test the boom first to check for leaks, pattern, and pressure before actual use.
  8. Adjust pressure and pattern.
     Close the bypass valve for highest pressure, or open it to reduce pressure. Spray on a hard surface like concrete to confirm even pattern and overlap.
